RE: Bit of a Bargain--- I think

If the DRC fails within 2 years, I suppose Audi will replace it without having to go through the new warrantee? Isn't there a 2 year parts warrantee on new parts fitted?

Has anyone claimed yet with Warranty Direct? Do they cover the DRC? How do they investigate when an issue has occured and being an RS6 could they say the car has been thrashed for example?

Do they only pay a certain % and I have seen people writing (covered 60%) etc.

I am about to take this cover myself and just wanted to know.

Thanks

Steve

I have taken out this warranty and understand all of the abopve to be fully covered at Audi dealer labour rates- does anyone have experience of this not being the case?

I claimed (with Warranty Direct) twice last year for the DRC issue. The first time there was a failure on both shocks in the one circuit. They were slow to agree to pay and sent out an inspector. However in the end they did. 6 months later the other corner went. This time only one of the shocks had gone. However as you know you must also replace the other shock and pump/valve. They refused to pay for it as they had not failed.
I made a big fuss and complained to Audi Customer Services. They agreed to pay part of the costs. Warranty Direct paid for part. In the end that time I paid around £550 for a £1800 bill.
Now all my DRC has been replaced and it comes with a 2 year warranty.
