Well , i get my spare rs6 next week so i'll have spare engine ect . I have got a b5 rs4 gear box in so i can see if it will fit .

B5 RS4 box will not hold up very long unless you upgrade the gears as the torque will strip the gears off the shafts

I've got a spare 6 speed diesel box , this has stronger gears and a longer 6th , i should get a b7 rs4 box tis week as well .

There was an RS6 replica at Dialynx a couple of weeks ago when mine was in for a service. It runs MoTeC and a diesel manual 'box apparently without trouble - gets used a lot they told me and it makes decent power/torque.
