RS6 Side badges ?

Hi,

Has anyone got, or had fitted RS6 side badges on the rear door trims ? A mate has got the news RS4 and they've got them on in a nice subtle way.

I have the RS bit, but the 6 isn't currently available. But the 6 is the same as the front grill badge, so you could use 2 of those to finish the job.

Have a look on ebay for the RS bit, don't forget to order 2! Cheers

Yes, but you would need to split the RS6 from the backing, remove the old adhesive and use some new. Not difficult really just a bit more work, I just haven't got round to it!

Guess I was waiting to see if someone would come up with just the 6.

Oh, and I only figured out that the side badges were the same letter style/size as the front badge when I had already bought the RS ones

Does the RS6 have side rub strips on the doors?

Reason I ask is because I had this idea for my B5 RS4, but these don't come with any rub strips, so you can't actually place them anywhere, unless you place them on the wing beneath the side repeater...

Yes they do have the rub strips like the B7 RS4.

It all comes down to how 'stealth' you want to be. I think it's a bit OTT personally. A nice touch I have seen is to put the 'V8' badge over / under the side repeater like on the new S6 and S8 have done with the V10.

a discrete "rs" badge at the front on an indented side strip might work ok - sort of like that on the m3. otherwise too ott for me...
