Buy direct on line from TeleAtlas.com. They take online Credit cards and you get full updates. Or try Ebay as some firms there give good discounts

I bought all the maps of Europe (Germany, France, Belux, Alpes) for around £60 on ebay. They were the 2003/ 2002 editions but that is fine. I used them when I went to Baden-Baden last year and they were great. They took me right to my front door of the hotel. I did by an updated UK map last year 2006, which now includes the M6 toll road, but it is not quite up to date with the latest motorway change. It does have TMC. (Although it is pretty useless).

I agree with Dr B .The system is pretty cr-p. In my last motor I had VDO Dayton which was unbelievably accurate. Would take you right to the postcode and house number!!!!!!!! it was that accurate. It would also tell you which lane you should be in at complicated junctions eg in London. I really miss it.
