ANY MEMBER FROM ESSEX / KENT WITH MILLTEK OR REMAP ?

Post by JAZZA » Sat Mar 17, 2007 11:26 pm

im still deciding which route to take

MILLTEK = sound, but bigger tailpipes so doesnt look stock

REMAP = speed, but more strain on engine / box

are there any members from essex or kent who have either done i can meet up with to have a look / listen or a passenger ride to try and help my decision

cheers

I was going to post the same question wih ref to the milltek.

Then i found one and bite the bullet (Miltek).

The rear of the car does change slightly but not a huge amount. As for the sound, it does make a nice sound now, not that it didn't before but now the radio's hardly on :D

I keep thinking about the remap but like you, "more strain on engine and box"" makes me nervous.

I think if i was to take a remapped out for a drive i would have mine in for the map within a week or so. Hence not looking to hard for a tester ;)

Going on what people say, it is a great improvement but like you ?engine/box?

Good luck for the road you choose :D

BOTH.
No point in owning a blown RS without experiencing its true potential.
Zorst: Tailpipes fit the valence perfectly, so look better than factory, allows the engine to rev freely, plus throatier note.
Remap: makes it into a torque monster with nearly 600lb/ft.
Great for overtaking :)
