I saw that one advertised, I wonder what's going on there...

Changing an RS6 for an RS6???
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Are you getting the same motor, just 2 years newer?

Changing an RS6 for an RS6???
Makes perfect sense! Much better choice than a Cayenne, I saw a photo of Jade Goody in her Cayenne so you are putting yourself at risk of a)humiliation and b)assassination

lmao, yeh, its a case of there being nothing to compare to an RS6 simple as that.

Dave, Ive ordered an EVO FQ360 MR brand new ! 366bhp only weighs 1300kg

Will let you know how it compares, but, having owned them before, there is no comparison
the audi is a luxury uber fast beast with all the toys.

The evo's are rocket powered tin cans !!

But Its nice to get a brand new car.

Congrats bigman ... how long before delivery? Unbelievable performance out of these things with go-cart like handling ... how long before it gets modded? Can't help think that you'll miss the luxuries of the 6 after a while ... personally for me scoobies/evo's etc are an amazing achievement of engineering but I couldn't have one for the daily trudge to and from work ... just too hyper for Monday morning traffic.

Keep us posted with how you get on with it.

Rich.
The Present ...
C7 RS6 Avant - Estoril Blue - everything bar B&O - Akrapovic only upgrade (... so far)

The Past ...
C6 RS6 Saloon - Phantom Black - lots of factory extras but no tuning.
C5 RS6 Saloon - Daytona with black Interior - Full Milltek with 100 cpsi cats - AMD Remap - Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers - MTM Bimoto's - Phaeton Brake Upgrade - RNS-E + Bluetooth + Multi-media player + Phatbox
911 (996) Turbo - X50 - Aerokit - PCCB

Rich, Thanks, ive been waiting a week now, I think it will be another 2 weeks ! Gutted.

I am in full agreeance with you, thank fully though its going to sit in the garage and come out only when I NEED
to feel some performance.

Ive got a 328i for work at present.

I'l get some pics once I take delivery, I do miss my beast already I can assure you, it was the hardest decision ever selling it.

A) its 4 years old
B) Warranty was due to expire and costs over a grand to renew
C) I fancied a change

No real reason really, I know fine the evo wont match the RS6 in terms of class and toys

But I am looking forward to being more involved with my driving experiance again, ive been practising my
left foot braking in the 328, its coming along nicely !
