No Speeding... The correct term is "Safe Overtaking"

Lol.

But but ... since black paint absorbs more heat, the paint also gets softer and stickier, hence traps more insects, thus reducing the aerodynamic efficiency of the car, which in turn neutralises any "potent vacuum effect". bLACK CARS ARE SLOOOOOWER! :)

I was hoping to find an RS6 with a distance to travel, i was looking forward to the journey home. Good luck with the purchase.

Here's my 2 pence for the colour discussion

Daytona Grey is the faster colour! !

They chose grey because it's lighter than black ;) and added a Daytona indicar special mix because it would go faster in grey, this special mix would hold the paint on with the extra G's from the grey body.

You know it makes sense :D

Plus, Daytona Grey matches my socks

No no! You are all getting confused by the Dopler effect. A car moving towards you will appear to be bluer - but one moving away (eg having overtaken) will appear redder!

Thus a car that is faster than yours, is by definition RED! QED!

Dave :redrs4:

PS This is why the Blue ones are also more saleable - time to trade in the slow colour!!

Why?

I ordered mine with the 18" wheels, giving a slightly more comfortable ride, and there's more protection against kerbing. I don't believe that any difference in handling/roadholding would be noticeable.

it seems to have most options - drilled brakes, sun blinds, extra airbags, phone prep, sunroof, alu fascia, electric steering column, tracker so as long as its as described I'm happy!
