Well that's the way I'm feeling right this second! ! !

Picking up my RS6 tomorrow morning and can't wait.

Now, do i go to bed early so the morning comes early or do i continue celebrating with the wine and go to bed when i feel tired?

Anyway, must sort out dinner and top up my glass :D

Not felt like this for ages, think the last time was when i knew i was on a promise and we were going to get an early night

Mmmmm RS........... wonder what dreams are in store for me tonight....... that's if i can sleep ;)

is there an echo in here? ;) does that mean i get two guesses, I'm sure I'll get it right :D

when your baby's back on the road maybe we can organise a Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire meet for the new year.

By the way, i was going to interrupt your other post to say, give Camberley Audi ago, spoken to a few sales guys who were nice, (i was looking to buy) and the assistant manager is a top bloke, got on really well. Plus I'm sure they're closer.

Hope you get yours back soon Dave.

Nightmares for me

Post by Splash » Fri Dec 15, 2006 10:44 am

I've just had my last morning waking up to see my 6+ on the drive as I'm taking it to the dealer's today to wave goodbye.

It's only ever run on Optimax/V-Power, and I brimmed it knowing that I was going to really enjoy the last tankful  and leave it just above the red light when it goes.

Needless to say, I didn't sleep too well last night, rerunning my driving through my head like when you've been on the XBox or PS late at night.

Just a couple of things left to do now: strip her and whip her.

Well now it's Boxing day, had a fantastic Christmas day, picked the car up at 11am ish and drove her till 6pm. Wife was shopping at bluewater with her mum so it was just me, my 2 yrs old and mRS 6.

Great car, great drive, great sound and great 2nd wife ;)

I think i'm going to call her MRS 6 (M rs6), at least she only opens her mouth when i push hard with my right foot.

Anyway, at work now and got loads to get on with, have to sort the pic's out on the next nice day.

GGRRRAAAAWWWWW! ! ! ! ! ! (V8 twin turbo raw ;) )

Nothing immediately, but I've got a diesel 4x4 and a Clio 172Cup for the fun side. Will probably swap that for equivalent bhp in quattro diesel as I'm in a similar predicament to Bob and find I'm doing loads of miles looking after the other house 300miles away.

A bit like a mistress - the RS is/was exciting, good looking and I didn't want to let it out of my sight (especially at night). At 40 I'm now looking at something low-maintenance, a bit more frugal but still eye-catching, and good for the long haul...2 or 3 years anyway.

For anyone who may have guessed I'll revert to my normal user name once I've done a courtesy call to the other garage that bid on my car. And no - I wasn't speaking to Swiss Tony.
