Diagnosis

Post by Turbo Joe » Wed May 17, 2006 12:59 am

Anyone familiar with something called a wing/wheel sensor on the RS6 and if it goes will it come up as air mass meter on a diagnostic and reduce the performance of the vehicle? I always thought that air mass meter meant air mass meter period. Does the RS6 throw up faults that actually mean something else? Thanks guys!

I would have thought that anything described as wing or wheel sensor would be related to the tyre pressure monitoring system. It would have nothing to do with performance.

Although, if the system is sensing a fault with the tyre it may impair performance from a safety point of view?
