I am using Red Stuff ceramic pads front and back. No squeeling now. Seem to work very well.

Red stuffs? Didn't know they were available. What is the retail price on them?

What are they like for dust - any better than OEM pads?

I've used the ebc red ceramics on both my track-day car and my old everyday e34M5 and while I don't rate them as highly as the pagids they are 95% of the way there for a fraction of the cost.
They don't produce excessive dust, certainly no more than standard OEM pads, and seem to be quite kind to the discs as well which would be a definate bonus in the case of the rs6.

They appear to be better, but at this time of year there is so much salt on the road,

Oh thats cheap! Might bring on a couple of extra trackdays at that price!

All we need now is a cheaper price on the discs...

My experience of Mintex was not good and some of the US S4 guys have found similar.
