40k service help

Post by PaulChallis » Tue Mar 07, 2006 2:23 pm

Hello all,
My car is now due up for the 40k service, and im wondering if any of you can help.
Untechnically minded as I am ( the lady at Chester Audi is worse) did anyone discover if the belt dose need changing, and what else needs doing at 40k.
I would really appriciate some help.
Also any ideas on cost.
Many thanks
Paul

Skodaw is your man on here for this (he works at chester Audi)

This is his pet subject.

The cambelt is now 60k or 3 years. Just had this back and forth with mine and Skodaw resolved it for me.

Chester quoted me £612 for my service, but mine is on 35k AVS (I know, I am getting it taken off AVS) but that does not include the cambelt.
