Hi to you all... would just like to introduce myself as a new member. I have a 06 plate avis (pearl) silver rs4, and i am based in Newcastle upon tyne. I will try and add pics of car as soon as... car is standard no mods!! but has all the extras to inc sunroof and cool box. Took a wile to find one in this colour! had to have the roof aswell. So far so good.. apart from the slight squeak on full lock!! is this common??

Welome and apologies for the late FON. How are you getting on with the car? The noise on/near steering lock is a special feature . Very very common and nothing to worry about. Just check it's not due to a low brake fluid level.

What sort of miles has it got on it?
Anything need doing to it to bring it up to scratch?
Any plans to modify it?

I have recently acquired an AVUS Silver RS6 and it too has a small squeal on full lock but that seems common enough as it is hydraulically powered steering and not with an electric motor.
