New Member - C5 RS6 6 Speed Owner

Post by SteveKen » Wed Apr 18, 2012 2:37 pm

Hi Everyone.

I'm driving a 6 speed RS6 and located near Pittsburgh, PA USA.

In the past, I've had 3 B5 S4's, 1 C5 A6 and 1 C5 S6.

I've mostly been on the US based sites and have finally made my way over here.

I'm a bit of a tinkerer, not afraid to tear into anything and hope to contribute with some knowledge I've picked up over the years as well as test you members, since I'm always asking questions.

Aside from the 6 speed RS6, some of the projects include a 1977 Honda CB750 F2 that I plan on turning into a cafe racer and an old 2 stroke Yamaha golf cart that I hope to hit 30 mph in.

Regards,

Steve

Yes, it can be done on jackstands without removing the engine. I wouldn't recommend it, though.

Still haven't modified the shifter surround yet. . .

Cafe racer is a stripped down style of motorcycle that originated in the UK and other parts of Europe.

Take a motorcycle, strip off the unnecessary parts and make it lighter, etc.

My bike, as-is:

Example of a Cafe Racer that it could be turned into:

Welcome.

Some amazing projects going on there. Especially the RS6 off course. ;)
Love to hear and see any other mods you have done to your RS6.
