Hi there,

Just away to get myself a Daytona Grey C5 RS6 Avant next week, suspect gearbox probs so tad nervous to find out what's exactly up... :(

Up in not so sunny Aberdeen, have a couple of friends with RS6's, finally managed to get one of them to buy one a while back, he's lurking in the boards i've spied.

I'm usually more a BMW man but couldn't resist a RS6 :) Currently building up a track E34 V8.

Great forum though, lots of tips n tricks :thumbs:

Lets just say your introduction to the world of the RS6 sounds like it may be financially unrewarding :bash: Once that gearbox is sorted I would imagine its grin factor all round.

Yeah, i realise the possible cost of it but the cost of the car is more than making up for that, so not all too bad, i hope...

Standard-ish :bigblink: Supposedly it's running a Stage 1 map, so i think that's about 500brake area???

Would like to go for more but cash is king and i've still to get my E34 supercharger done :audibash: lol

Been looking into the Level10 uprated TC's etc, dreading taking the engine and box out, but i've read it can "kinda" be done with the engine still in??? Either way, not a task i'm looking forward to lol.

Yeah, def gimme a shout if you see me floating about guy, if i'm not in the RS6 i'll be in a white e34 with CF bonnet and boot, you can hear it miles away, gotta love straight pipes :bowdown:
