Just a quick Hi!
Hoping to have this by the end of the week if everything goes well:

Thanks to your forum, knew what to look for. I know, convertible. . . I'm just a tart at heart! That, and the wife had one requirement. The drop-top.
Wish me luck with the bank/insurers tomorrow!

Cheers - fingers crossed I'll come up with a good enough quote on insurance to go ahead. PerformanceDirect.Conn came up with 1500 fully comp for me and the missus (32 and 26) with no no-claims, as only driving my company car the last 10 years. They wanted 3k excess?? lol. Will keep looking around. Think some companies will take into account use of personal company car?
Also been having the reoccurring dream the last 2 nights now, the S4 dream? Is that normal, lol

Got it on Wednesday. Amazing. Loving that V8 they'd come up with. Sounds great with the roof down - just need to find a decent tunnel round West Sussex! Think there is one north of Brighton? So far we've done about 150 miles in it, in 3 days. Just cruising round really. 13.9mgp so far, but that's better than I expected, lol. It ain't no Citron C1! But the noise. Awesome.
141,000 on the clock, but the body and interior are fine. New would have been nice, but not on my wages...
I swear I also kept up with a sports motorbike today? Is that possible? Am I only now just discovering the awesomeness of V8's?

You'll be having this fun everyday in it now. Trouble is now you have had a V8, it'll have to be the same engine if not a bigger one next time

Had one go already, after 11 days. Doh. Is it from driving hard?
Does THIS apply to the UK anyone know?

PHOTO WHORE TIME!
Waited 25 months to get this fitted. Excuse the grimacing, but I was getting bored with adjusting the bloody thing...
These going in on Saturday:
Attacking it with this Saturday as well, about time!
Also recently added some Ferodo DS2500's for a track day at Bedford, awesome fun. Added this at the same time from the Sports pack B7 RS4 range:
A random B+W photo:
Recently refurbished alloys, well overdue!

Another arty-farty shot:
Full arms/links kit from WOT added:
AitP2011
Aux rads and cover gaskets done too. Just about right now.

I bet that drives like a new car again Ali
It most certainly looked fantastic at the recent Kent meet.
