Swede checking in.

Hi !

Quick intro. No, I am not Swedish, I am Belgian but known on several car fora as the Swede. I'm from the Dutch side of Belgium, hence why I generally am very straight-forward in the way I talk.

Audi history:
I ordered a black RS4 Avant 3 years ago from Audi Basingstoke which contracted to deliver the car in July 2006.
As delivery date came closer, the car suddenly was going to be delivered in January 2007 and I would need to pay for the price increase. Audi thought this was 'normal'. As I am the customer and hate dealers who think they are doing me a favour by selling me a car, I told Audi to stuff their car where the sun never shines.

Got an Evo IX instead which is now being sold.

Being a VERY big fan of the quattro, I am very interested by the TT RS at the moment, a car which will be used as toy car for the weekend.

My two questions for coming back to this forum:

- Where can I find an Audi dealer who is not a tw@t ?

- Coming out of a 400bhp Evo, I will probably be looking for some extra power out of a TT RS, so any advice on where to best get that will also be welcome.

Looking forward to participating to your forum.

Welcome.

Work very close to the Basingstoke Martins dealership and I know what you mean, that's just poor service!

Evo IX is a good motor but not up to the B7 standard.

The TT RS is meant to be Awesome, a mate of mine who is the sales manager at my local Audi dealer went on the advanced Audi course for employees and he said out of the RS6 and new R8, the TT was quikcer around that particular track. They had to slow it down apparently as it's so light and powerful with a great big spoiler bolted on.
