New RS6 reporting in.

Post by rost12 » Mon Oct 27, 2008 2:16 pm

Howdy.

A brief intro. I just came back from Audi sponsored event at the DTM 2008 final race, where I've met a couple of members from this forum. Glad to join group of similar minded people!

About a month ago I've picked up a nogaro blue RS6. Have just over 1k miles on it now. Enjoying it to bits :)

A couple obligatory shots:

My background is mostly in BMWs (have had an E39 M5 and E63 M6). This is my first fast Audi and I'll be sure to poke around the forums and see if I can learn something new.

Cheers,
Rost

P.S. sorry to ruin anyone's hopes, the blond in the photo above is not me. I'm way less prettier :p

Hello Rost - You found your way here :) I'm midway through writing up a little article about the weekend. What an excellent outing, great group of people, and topped off with a season win for Audi

How'd I miss this earlier? Hello Rost, I was another one of the Audi lot at Hockenheim. Not sure if we were introduced or not.

Your car's distressingly clean - mine looks like it spends it's days in an open-cast coal and mud mine or something...

It would be interesting to hear your thoughts as you get a few more miles with the RS 6 and how it compares to your previous BMWs.

Chris.

Trust me, it is far from being THAT clean currently. As I'm moving into a new house I haven't really had a chance to clean it for a few 2 weeks. On top of that the car decided to throw a suspension error code, it feels a bit weird. Heading to a dealership on monday, will see what's what.

Oops! Mine hasn't been cleaned at all for about three weeks, and I haven't cleaned it ever yet - had it since July.
