Hello chaps, chapesses

Post by MushroomMan » Fri Nov 07, 2003 1:40 pm

I'm new here - have got an S3 (02 - 225bhp) which is in need of some extra torque, boost, etc. Thinking of the revo trial to test out the modded effect, but worried that it may not actually revert to stock as claimed (yes that old chestnut) and don't want to burn my boats as far as looking at alternatives to revo should I not wish to go with them. I've heard AmD are introducing an "undetectable" serial port switchable option; also APR, Jabba and Oettinger should also be considered. I know it's a matter of personal choice at the end but I wondered if I could canvas some views?

Hiya MushroomMan Welcome to RS246.
It would be better to just say Hi here, then post your questions in the relevant forum (S3/Tuning).

Looking at your profile, you should get on well with Andiroo

Cheers matey. But doesn't Andiroo steer a supercharged RS4 and spend his life conversing with high powered company shakers and movers, not to mention flitting between revo and AmD lately? How could I be of any interest to such a one in my lowly unmodded S3?
