Hi Ally

Sounds lovely! I have a B8 RS4 in Sepang blue. Lusted over them since they came out and finally got one last year. To me these cars are just about perfect (when I don’t have sleepless nights about the gearbox going)!

Anyway, I’m Edinburgh, where abouts are you?

Matt

Hi Matt,

Nice B8, that colour is lovely! I'm just by Stirling so not far away, anyone ever have a wee Scottish meet?

Not too far then. Not sure, but be good if we can get one organised. Would be useful to share info about them and appreciate a big group of these machines in person!

Hi Ally,
I''ve just bought another B7 RS4 this week, 7 years after selling my TTS charged Ibis White Avant that I'd owned for 6 years previously. Love these cars.
I live in Angus.
It would be good to get a Scottish meet sorted out. In a past life on this forum I organised a 'National gathering' of B7 RS4's ( think we had about 45 cars) and I used to organise some runs/ meets around NE Scotland, think we used to get about 10 cars, though it was limited to B7's only back then.

Hi 22B, congratulations on the new B7! Were you looking for a while? Decent miles and spec? I took a bit of a punt on my one and flew down to London and when I saw it couldn't not buy it haha. To be fair i'm only the 4th custodian, previous owner had it for 10 years and fully Main dealer service record, only 68k miles when I bought it and nice spec. I've had to replace a few DRC shocks, recharge, just had all around OE discs and pads a few months ago and it's in just now for carbon clean, brake fluid change as well as transmission fluid and axle oil so making sure she's super fresh. A few wee bits of bodywork just to tidy but thankfully she's pretty clean underneath too!

Some garage you have, 2002's are one of my favourite cars, have you posted any pics up here of it?

We should get a Scottish meet going post winter!

Hi Ally,

I placed ads around various places and got lucky after only a couple of weeks. I was prepared to go anywhere to get the right car and as it turned out I got my 100% perfect car only 30 miles from home! A Sprint Blue one owner car in pristine condition, totally original, with good spec, FSH and only 21k miles. I plan to keep it as original as possible with maybe only a couple of minor mods/improvements. Can't wait for the spring to use it.

Re your car, that sounds like a nice car too, its great when you find a car like that, not a big mileage either I've taken a few punts buying cars down south but always done well.
Re the 2002; its a beautiful wee thing, I absolutely love it; couldn't believe how good it was when I went to 'have a look'; and like you there was no way I wasn't buying it !

I'll try and gauge the interest for a Scottish meet of some sort and we'll take it from there.

Cheers,
IainRS
