Back on a proper forum at last!

Post by ShaneyB » Thu Jan 09, 2020 4:45 pm

Hi all, Happy New Year.
I was previously a member on here back in 2009-2012 with a Daytona B7 RS4 Saloon and after writing it off moved to an E92 M3 and then a C43 AMG Merc :drink:

At last I got my C7 RS6 PE in October and loving every minute of it. Very pleased to be back on here with knowledgeable enthusiasts who actually bother to reply to your posts with intelligent/helpful answers rather than abuse and arguments.

So here's the test. I want to upload some pics, change my avatar etc but no matter what software I use (PhotoBucket etc) nothing seems to work? It's doing my head in!!

Can anyone send me an idiots guide (yes I am an idiot) for the best method to get some pics on here please?

Thank you all in advance.

Cheers
Shane

Normally works for me. Do you get any errors? Sometimes the size of the photos stops it loading if its too big. Actually, I did once have an issue on my phone and no matter how small i made the photo it still wouldn't load; I think I used a different browser and it was ok.

I think your best bet might be buying another Daytona b7 then Shane, you already have the picture up for that!

C43’s bark is far louder than it’s bite. Nice looking car but felt very slow to me. It’s odd as it feels faster with the exhaust valves closed. With them open it sounds like a Lambo doing 17omph but you’re really only going 50mph.

I had the E43.
Lovely place to be but just left me cold

Sometimes sounded ok and performance was ok, probably not much slower than the B8 RS4 I had before but I just got so bored

The final sting in the tail was how much I lost in just two years.

Safely say I won’t be having a merc again anytime soon !
