Ive finally joined the dark side and converted to Audi, after years of avoiding it
Just thought id introduce myself and the car.
Im Mike, 29, and im a car nut
My Previous cars from first to recent are
Mk4 Golf 1.4 (Engine blew)
Mk5 TDI 1.9 105bhp remapped to 150bhp (Stolen)
Mk4 Golf 1.9 GT TDI 130pd remapped to 172bhp (Stolen on same night as the car above)
Mk6 TSI 122bhp
Mk4 R32 Blue R-Tech tuned 273bhp (Still have this)
Mk4 R32 Black APR Stage 2 260bhp (Still have this)
Mk6 Golf R Stage 2+ R-Tech Tuned 363bhp (Sold)
Ford Mustang GT Lund Tuned 460bhp
And the new car is the Audi C7 RS6, APR Stage 2, 722bhp 792ft lb in Panther Black
panoramic roof, carbon interior, HUD, 360 cameras, soft close doors, milltek 3" downpipes, milltek cat back
I Bought the car as a little project really, cosmetically it needs some work, but that is what I enjoy doing, I plan to have a full front end respray after winter to start things off, and things will get a little crazy further down the line with wheels carbon and air ride etc. but one thing at a time

I wouldn't really say you have finally joined the dark side when 7 out of your previous 8 cars were all from the VAG family and are essentially rebranded Audi A3s.

Haha fair point. I had a itch to scratch with the mustang but that has gone and never again. Great to look at, sh!t to drive.
Just need to solve a few little mechanical issues first and then I can have some fun. It’s currently clunking on full lock and acceleration and vibration on heavy acceleration. I’m thinking cv joint but who knows
