Based in Manchester and looking to get into an RS4. Long time audisport fan, have been away from the marque for around 5 years following the theft of my wife's S3. However have a more secure set up garage/gates etc. and lifestyle to short.

The main thing I am weighing up is whether to get a B8 for late £20s or take finance on a B9.

Hopefully I can some nice options for both with the forums help and I'll post in the relevant sub forums.

Well it’s not for me to tell you how to spend your money but apart from the obvious day to day running costs I would budget for unexpected failures and assume if someone is selling a car they are not going to be spending money on it before it goes. As said before often owners get rid before a service due to cost, if they did that would they have run it on super unleaded?
I would recommend you get some kind of warranty as so far this has been invaluable for me despite thinking I had a good one!
