Another Imola Moves to Scotland

Post by Sheldo » Sun Mar 10, 2019 9:43 am

Been lurking for a while so I should start posting now that I’ve finally got my own.

Had a 400 mile drive home yesterday to get familiar with the car and what a great way to cover the miles.

The car itself is a 2007 Imola RS4 Avant, it just ticked into 67,000 on my journey home, there’s no history of the DRC being replaced but for now it looked and felt ok while driving.

The only Modification to the car is a switchable Miltek, and that’s most likely how that list will stay, other than possibly swapping out bulbs for LED’s. I’ll be taking it down to see a friend about getting some paint correction and paint protection work carried out.

Not had a chance to get my own photos yet so here’s a few from the for sale Ad:

Thanks

I’m in Perth, I’ve only seen one other Avant here, a sprint blue that’s been here a long time. A few b8’s kick around too.

Sounds good. Nice part of the country and some cracking roads to have some fun.

I’m originally from Moray and all the rest of my family are Edinburgh.

This is perhaps covered elsewhere (it probably is, but I am lazy). We should arrange a Scottish get-together. I am top of the Borders (rugby country). Would be great to get some of the Scottish contingent together for a meet and drive. Up for it?
Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)

Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

Just seen this, yeah I’d be up for that. I’d noticed RS4OC Facebook were looking to arrange a NC500 at some point, but that’s ideally a 2-4 day trip.
