Yes! All very nice! Congrats.
And you have the same (much rarer) wheels as I had on my gta.

That corvette must be an event to drive, I can just imagine the sound. Not a fan of the Alfa but that’s just personal. Your B7 looks great, needs some spacers to fill the arches and the wing badges aren’t to my taste but I like it. Have you got any plans for it?

You sure like your stand out colours! Very cool. The corvette is just gorgeous.
And thanks for the tip regarding the interweb. Didn't know you could order car parts on it. I thought it was just for RS246.com (and porn).

Currently running:
18 plate Lamborghini Huracan Performante (5.2l of V10 naturally aspirated craziness)
67 plate RS6 Performance (fully loaded)
66 plate Range Rover Autobiography (for wafting around)
16 plate Mini Cooper S convertible (lots of fun but rather skittish when thrashed)
Favourite car ever owned:
1971 Citroen DS21 - The Goddess (pure art on wheels)

For the Alfa: Did they actually sell any other colors (colours ) besides "130"/Rosso Alfa?zappy-chops wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:15 amYou sure like your stand out colours! Very cool. The corvette is just gorgeous.
For the Daytona Yellow on the C3, and for whatever that Orange on the Audi is called: I actually would have preferred something different (C3 dream combo: Donnybrook Green + Saddle Leather interior). But you know how it goes: in both cases, in the end, availability/scarcity, condition/originality, and price, trumped color. I simply couldn't let any one of these two pass. Yes, they're that good...
There you go.zappy-chops wrote: ↑Sat Feb 23, 2019 12:15 amAnd thanks for the tip regarding the interweb. Didn't know you could order car parts on it. I thought it was just for RS246.com (and porn).
Re: Money Pit #3: 2008 RS4 Avant (B7)
She still has the original cam and exhaust, so, she does sound nice, but not loud.
And yes, stomping on 7.5 normally aspirated liters, which give you instant 680 Nm, can be called an event.
Thanks. Firstly, I plan on DRIVING it. Starting April or May.
In terms of mods: I like my cars "as they came from the factory". I'm still very much researching the car, but I already know that it does have a few mods from the POs, like a Capristo exhaust system, and lowering springs. DRC is still there and functional, though. If anything, my mods will go more in the direction of removing those things and plugging in original/Audi parts again. Sorry, no "build thread".

Nice cars. I actually think I like the Quattro badge in this case, and I'm definitely more of a badge removal than badge addition guy normally. That colour is LOUD.
If you decide to remove the Capristo and feel like putting it on a pallet to Australia, let me know.

I wonder if this used to be the Capristo demo car?
I remember watching their website video and they used an orange Avant to demonstrate the sound in various exhaust modes (selectable via a key fob).
Can't be many around with that system in orange.
