Hi All

New RS4 owner here,

It has taken a while, after having our first child the Golf R32 just wasn't big enough so the hunt for something more practical started but not at the expense of pace and handing.

First off I looked into Golf R Estates due to tuning ability but when I took the wife to drive one her first comment was " doesn't sound as good as our Golf" at whichpoint the salesman nearly fell out the car.

I nearly bought a 2017 facelift Golf R estate for £28k but they wouldn't (thankfully) budge on price, my wife was very surprised I didn't come home with it which sparked a conversation about cars and the long and short was she knows I love cars and now earn 3 times what I did a few years back, we did plenty of spreadsheet (she is an accountant) and couldn't believe when you take in the depreciation a Golf R estate (modified) would actually cost the same as an RS4 over 3 years so the search went on, missed a few cars but ended up with this baby!

MY2013 53k miles
Full Audi Exclusive interior with buckets (£7K option)
Tech Pack Advanced
Advance Parking
ACC
Silver Styling Pack
B&O
PAN roof

No sports pack so no Dynamic Steering or leaky DRC

Has a bent wheel which I am fighting to get the dealer to sort and after 2 days it smelt of smoke but I am working on that.

Other than that I am very happy, so nice to have the S-tronic in town big step up in comfort and sooo fast, just needs more of a voice.

The wife came home Saturday and I quote "That car is so naughty"

Welcome along.

Car looks great and your woman is a keeper for sure!

Assuming from your Golf R, you have the modifying bug, so have you got any plans?

Cheers
