Collected my new (to me) B8 S4 avant yesterday so joined up to say hi. Not my first audi but first S. Was looking for a while and finally my dream spec manual popped up.

Looking forward to some meets and advice on here.

Recognise that one on Autotrader, last of the manuals, looked very clean with a good spec (Super sports seats, Nav, B&O) but strange to see it running winter tyres all year round? When I looked at the advert, they look like the same Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme I ran on my old S4 (and still have)

That's the one! Bloody long trek to pick it up from Norfolk but an enjoyable drive back. I queried the tyres as well, but not a bad time to have them on, just budgeted for summer tyres in the new year.

Congratulations!.... I hear the B8 S4 was/is a decent car. I, too, want to know about the 'meets'... got an RS6 performance keen to meet its 'kindred'...

Thanks very much. It's not quite RS6 performance league but very pleased. Hopefully see it at a meet at some point.
