Totally Newby Audi SQ7 owner... that wants a touch more

Post by Vtr1000f » Fri Oct 12, 2018 5:33 pm

Ummm, Hello guys,
I'm a complete newby to this forum, am a total motorcycle nut and recently bought an Audi 2017 SQ7. Being a little bit greedy, I'd like to know about mild tweaks (that can be hidden at any warranty "event") so I figured "why not talk to other Audi nutters?

Cheers, Anthony

Loads of threads on here re tuning, they don’t have to be specific to a given model. Nothing can be hidden is the short answer.

Welcome.

Man maths would suggest trading it in and getting an RSQ7 :thumb:

Cheers

MRC will know what to do, they're a site Sponsor...just don't expect a prompt reply :)

The SQ7 section on here is a bit "tumbleweed"

Any mods now will come up at the dealer so if you are still in warranty you will need to bear this in mind

I had a Bentayga for a weekend. It's essentially the same 'car' without 4WS and a bit heavier. It was stupidly fast, I mean comical rapid, I couldn't imagine why you'd need to go faster in such a tank. I cannot envisage a quicker nought to sixty dash, it makes all of its 660ft/lbs from 1000rpm. It's a car you just drive around in 5th or 6th gear, in fact, a 6th gear pull from 40mph - 100mph in SQ7 will be 1.4secs quicker than in a £200,000+ Bentayga W12. That is unfathomable wafting ability, how much more do you want? Are you trying to move the earth off its axis?
No matter where you go, there you are.
