Another convert to the dark side...

Post by Dan D. » Wed Aug 22, 2018 3:02 pm

Hi guys, my names Dan, originally from London, now in Herts/Bucks and I'm selling my BMW Z4M Coupe to fund the purchase of a B7 RS4 saloon.
I've convinced the Mrs I'm selling the harsh riding sports car which she hates for a sensible 4 door saloon
I'm told this is the place to be so I hope to learn lots as I'm quite an Audi newbie apart from having a 2005 A3 2.0TDI quattro daily driver. Who knows maybe I'll find the perfect car here too!
I will be looking for a B7 saloon in Black, Dark Grey, Mugello Blue or Venetian Purple with black optics, Wingbacks and preferably carbon trim, mileage up to around 100k as soon as I've sold my BMW.
Thanks for reading!

Welcome.

I have just converted from an E46 M3 to a B7 RS4 Avant and I have to say, personally, it is the place to be.

Got a slight wait until my M3 gets picked up and I can pick my RS4 up and I’m really looking forward to the drive home.

Hope you find the right car soon.

Cheers

Interesting, same engine as the z4m so glad to hear you're happy with the change. I'll miss the mental inline 6, but I'm sure the V8 will keep me entertained!
Thanks, hope you enjoy your new motor.

Welcome and FON!

Had a few BMW’s. S54 included. Had more S and RS Audi’s though. The B7 is great. Better way th a stage 2 and handling mods though

Good luck finding a good one. Do your research and expect to have to sort niggles out regardless of mileage.

Welcome.

The B7 is an amazing car to own.
Should be plenty of black and grey cars out there. Mugello much rarer and the only venetian purple one that I know of was recently sprayed that colour by a member on here.

All I keep hearing is, “are you on RS246 again” and “there can’t be that much to read about an RS4” along with

Cheers

I don't hear it any more. I don't spend as much time on the forum as there seems to be less going on recently.

Indeed Mike. Same here. Like you’ve said. A lot of the old regulars have gone a bit quiet and some banter has died a little. I can’t even slag my Mrs off anymore cause she’s been to boot camp and lost 20 stone.

Doesn't matter, she will always be a fatty to us.
