Hi All!
Ive used the forum as a wealth of advice. Always loved the RS4 avant and recently picked one up I thought met the criteria. Lots of paperwork, service history is a mix of Audi and indy. Body and interior are really clean, the wear on the seats was minimal - thing that attracted me on the initial pictures. After reading this forum i took it to Campsec post purchase for the health check and got a nice thumbs up. I was worried i'd have a few bills to cover - but over all was told it was a clean example.
I'm loving the car. Everything I have read here is true! Outstanding drive and even though I have been nowhere near the limit thoroughly enjoyed it. Its shocked me how quickly it gets round to the top end of the speedo....
Nice surprise to find in the paperwork was a MRC stage 2 reamp - something I don't think the garage selling it were aware of (part ex into Sytner). Heaving read up here, I can confirm it makes 1st and 2nd gears a bit unusable round town in S mode! But why use S round town? Seem to be that you can only use S (post remap) either on or off - no half measures.
I swapped out the tyres it came with (mismatched) for Michelin PS4's after reading up on here. Well onto the pictures... here it is in Mugello Blue Pearl:
I've given it a few goings over with the the snow foam lance and wax. I'm quite into detailing and use a machine polisher and compounds, so will do a paint restoration at some point. Ill document it here. For now its just had a good going over with Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo and Poorboys World Nattys Paste Wax (nice pic of of the rain beading post wax).
Hope you like and thanks for all the info so far...

Looks lovely. I'm new to the B7 RS4 fold too.
Glad you found Camspec good, they are likely to be my garage of choice when mine needs any work.

Nothing like the feeling of picking up your RS4. Looks nice. Try not to hang around these forums too much, they inspire too many $$ to be spent!

Thank you! Are you having fun in yours? Camspec have been brilliant can’t speak highly enough. Reasonable prices and very knowledgeable.
Thank you! That is a very real danger! Having read thru here I’ve a list of plenty of things I want to do. I already jumped on the Euro parts 50% off sale stock piling parts

Yea having an awesome time.
Although be wary... As others have pointed out, this forum will empty your wallet quicker than a flash sale at screwfix.

All the best with the paint restoration, but I think if you are not a professional detailer you should leave it to the pros, if you had a spray gun and watched a few YouTube videos would you attempt to paint your car?
