Hi all,

Prospective new owner here from Haslemere, Surrey.

Looking at getting an B7 RS4; and everyone I have spoken to has sent me here!

Thought I wanted a B8.5 S4 (MRC'd in good time) but the S-Tronic horror stories are terrifying me . thoughts?

Are there any more owners down my way? wouldn't mind having a chat with someone to get an little more info on ownership of either 7RS4 / 8.5S4.

You won't regret buying a B7 RS4. Just make sure you know what to look out for and that either all the major jobs have been done, or, the car is priced accordingly.

We often do a Boxhill meet, although we haven't got one in the diary yet. There is a meet going on at Beaulieu (see link) viewtopic.php?f=10&t=128005 I think there are quite a few guys going, so it should be a pretty good day. (I can't make it)

By the way - the fastest body shape is the avant, and black is the best colour. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Yes Avant is what I'm after, it's gonna be the family car.

From looking through the forum, it seems like everyone and their dog is after a B7 RS4 at the moment... With Wingb... Sorry Buckets.

Hi I'm in Petersfield. Sold mine 18 months ago, went Merc C63 but missed the traction during theses months. Absolutely loved mine, longest I have ever kept a car. Now back in an Audi. If you ever fancy a run out I organise a breakfast meet, with a blast out beforehand. Usually your way and towards Goodwood.

Brilliant. I've got family goodwood way (Chichester) so I'm heading that way often.

Hey. I'm not too far away. Littlehampton on the south coast but grew up in Petworth and am back there regularly. If you change your mind and want an RS6 you are welcome to have a look round mine.
