Old forum car, newish owner

Post by RichieB » Sat Jan 20, 2018 10:54 pm

Finally saying hello after nearly 2 years of owning this B7 RS4 some of you may recognise....?

My name is Richie from NW Cumbria.
After seeing Geordie Jay advertising this for sale and checking its history from MartayMcFly too, you could tell it was well looked after. After a visit to the Toon I managed to convince Jay to reluctantly let it go. Good man.
The cars had a few tweeks since my ownership, nothing major but I'll still probably put up a build thread to document its history.
Absolutely cracking cars these are. Overall more enjoyment than my previous car

Only mods so far by me are the Trups led upgrades interior & exterior, replaced/increased the diameter of the caf for the Revolution intake and some S5 20" alloys. After seeing pics of yours and a phantom black one (previous owner Frostie) I really liked the oem look of them. I bought them freshly painted in black but since decided they would look better in a matt anthracite or titanium finish against daytona. Will prob get a refurb in summer as there is already some lacquer peel on some rims

I'm still quite proud of how those wheels fit. Did it ever get a black roof lining?

Lots of man maths plus trial & error to get the right offset/spacing i bet  thats why I've kept hold of them as it sets it apart from others.
Not quite got round to changing over the headlining yet. Sourced all the black lamp inserts/black sun roof controls. However, young family soon puts pay to days spent messing around doing bloke stuff in the garage......
