b7 rs4 noise under engine braking

Hi All im looking for your help on this. i have a b7 rs4 on 63k and it seems to be making a slight whining noise under engine braking. its usually between 2k and 4k revs is this normal??? i have owned the car for almost 2 years but only now noticing this. it still drives perfect otherwise its just this noise thats annoying me
