My name is Chris from Bexleyheath and As like modest people here I've done the young children bit and now it's time for a family car/ toy. I've always had the vw/ Audi and now time for a grown up car (although I wish I did keep hold of the golf rallye I once owned as these are fetching silly money now!

Anyway I digress. Last week for some unknown reason I decided to chuck an offer on a RS6 Avant. Being a couple of grand less I thought the dealer would just say no but after loads of bartering I found myself the proud new owner. I now have the perfect excuse not to fly to the Alps next year. I'll be driving!

Looks tidy, just needs the 5 segment wheels to finish off. What kind of warranty has it go, what work has it had done to it? Coolant pipes, 50p seal, how are the discs?

I am yet to see it in the flesh. Flying up on Saturday. As far as I know it has the steel discs which is a bonus but any more than that I am yet to find out. Your covered by trading standards with used car purchases within the first few months and to be fair warrantys are not worth the paper there written on.

It's more meets than trackdays, I've never been on a track. Check it out.
