New RS6 C5 in the South

Post by SimonBurchett1984 » Wed Jan 11, 2017 9:28 pm

Hi everyone. :bigwave:

I've recently got myself an RS6 C5 after wanting one ever since I was 22 and drove one on a red letter day!! And finally I have got one.
It needs a few things sorting out with I managed to get price reduced for!
The main is the suspension with I have read on here that it's like driving a bouncy castle! I agree. I have this morning ordered the bilstien pss9 coilovers to solve the problem! The question to you guys is the bushes, I thought as I'm going to be doing the suspension I would like to do all the bushes as well as I can find anything in the piles of paperwork about them being replaced. Do I go with standard, which I guess if Audi decided to put on a beast of a car are perfectly up to scratch or do I go the poly bush route? Power flex I have heard mixed views on (different people, different cars) or super flex which after looking seem to do a kit for the front (not sure if it's everything) but no mention about the rear!
Thank you in advance

Looking forward to many very happy times in the new car

Simon
