New B7 RS4 Avant owner

Hi all,

New RS4 owner here, Australia based. Just paid a deposit and hoping to pick my new completely stock but immaculate, 94,000km silver Avant up in a couple of weeks.

First off, thanks for the great buying guide - it saved me from an RS4 with weeping shocks and nearly finished front brakes!

I'll post some pics when I take delivery.

I have a couple of mods planned - black wheels and optics first, then gutted decats and a catback.

Welcome to the site, are there many B7s about in OZ? how do they cope with the temperature?

There are a few. Rare, but not unheard of. Hopefully they cope well! Audi detunes some of their turbo cars (such as the new S3) for the temp, but I haven't heard of any such thing on the RS4.

Audi detune the B7 RS4 all over the world with this clever feature called carbon.

I've been looking through Mikes thread... Some good ideas there.

First off I'll probably get the wheels painted in a satin black, dark tint the windows, blackout the grille and badges and put some of those nice LED strip tail lights on, bypass the decats and centre resonators.

That oughta keep me busy for a while.
