Hi there. New member here, i sold my b5 s4 back in october and ive jumped over from srs as thats very b5 based.i joined here a while back and think its time i chipped in . Looked at 5 rs4s before this one popped up 10 mins from my house , i bought the car from another member here rs4jamo, i believe he also purchased it here so a forum car for a few years, which was great after many wasted trips around england !!!! The forum seems really.good and informative for the b7 (havent looked at others) , i look forward to making a contribution in.some way, unfortunatly i have no pics really as the weather has been rubbish and any dry day ive been working, this pic was taken at audi, i found some rust on n/s wing and took her in to see the outcome, theyve admitted warranty but want me to pay £350 70/30 split. Any ideas if i can appeal as could get done locally for half that.cheers

Welcome!
Good looking motor, and nice plate.
As for the paintwork claim, they normally insist on a documented annual bodywork inspection to pay 100% :audibash:

Welcome buddy. How good do these cars look still, after 9-10 years
I had to make a contribution of about £300 towards a warranty claim on 2 new wings for mine as the damage was from stone chips rather than corrosion from the inside out. Well, that was their argument.
Misano Red B7 RS4 Avant. 20" Rotors. KW adjustable spring kit. 8 & 10mm H&R spacers. MRC Stage 2 remap. Pre-cat delete & x-pipe.

Cheers for the welcomes, ive emailed audi uk twice regarding the decision and had no reply at all,!!!! shoddy customer service tbh. I will try and pop in the dealers in the week and have a chat with the bodyshop manager, he was a straight up guy and the decision comes from head office not the dealers im told.
Wheels also need a refurb and im tempted to go back to a more oem finish, all ive done so far is replace the black audi badges for silver ones as they werent for me. Would be nice to have a dry day on a weekend to wash and clean the car, hasnt stopped raining for weeks !!!!!
