Not so green as I used to be, having had to replace phone module to get MMI optic fibre ring working again, and airbag module to get rid of dash indicator, and both seat modules to get seats moving, then visit to Unit 10 to get 4 post-cat oxygen sensors replaced (engine out of course). Updated MMI & SatNav in passing. My last jobs of 2015 were replacing centre brake light, rear wiper motor, and offside 'inner' rear light unit (due to a silly tiny connector cable inside it coming adrift). Most recent garage visit was for a noisy 'jockey wheel'. Would you believe I stopped short of RS6 because I thought turbos might have reliability issues!
Audi parts don't seem to have longevity of BMW bits so far.
I bought S6 from a breaker as a 'stolen recovered' (bank job I'm told) so a few issues were to be expected. Plus repair/respray to fix minor bumps and scratches, plus wheels painted Ferrari grey and windows tinted. Then a truck hit me in Brussels en-route to t'Ring for the weekend. Needless to say..back to bodyshop.
Still, VERY HAPPY with performance!
And practicality of Avant. Particularly with boys trip to Le Mans 24h in June. Fingers crossed.
