Hello everyone,
I have signed up hoping to meet fellow minded petrol loving people and find my new B7 RS4.
Sold my very rare candy white golf R32 a couple of years ago and now it time to get a bigger better toy.

Welcome, you're going to need a new reg.
Bigger and better...well I read that as looking for an Avant. Good choice.
Not many frequent female members on here, just plenty of petrol heads.

Haha yes your right Sam, the plate looks terrible on my s-line avant at the moment. Looks like I've been beaten to the sprint blue avant in Huntington, was going to have a ride down tomorrow.
the search continues, it's a bit of a mine field weeding out the good ones.

Yes, at face value it looked to be a fairly good example and those types will always sell quickly. Best advice I can offer is to put 'boots to ground' and get out there looking at some cars. You'll soon get a feel on what condition you can expect, relative to the mileage on the clock. When I started looking, the bucket seats were always more worn than I'd anticipated and was something I had to adjust to. Also, the lovely wide arches which are a large appeal of the RS4 are prone to picking up stone chips, another aspect I hadn't appreciated when embarking on my search.
There is a wealth of knowledge from some great members in this community, so delve into the B7 section and get yourself clued up. As chance would have it, I just happen to know another better specified Sprint Blue Avant which might be for sale in 2016
Good luck.

Thanks Sam I really appreciate your advise.
I have done a lot of reading the last few weeks on the forum before I signed up. I have seen your post and the detailing video is a great watch. A fantastic car you have there. Please keep me posted on your decision I know it's not an easy one to make.
The bodywork on my R32 was immaculate as luck would have it my other half has a passion for detailing when we met.
Boots to ground it will be, I have called up after 3 now and they have just sold.
