Quick hello from up north in Scotland. Picking up a c5 avant tomorrow from Northumberland way. Got to to say this forum has helped immensely with being able to choose ( fingers crossed he says ) the right car with regards to common issues, history etc and Ive already dodged two bullets from what ive seen available just now.
If you guys had any info on the following car id be grateful but so far ticked all right boxes for me, any help appreciated

Moving on from an Evo 5, little more comfort needed.

That's a lovely choice. Should be an entertaining drive home, have you a route planned?
Where in Scotland are you located?

Thanks, travelling down from RAF Lossiemouth so the quickest route via sat nav I hope...... fair few miles to be covered...and a fair few fuel stops no doubt ha

I would recommend the A697 if you can nip onto it from the area you are collecting from. The A68 alternative, IIRC, has many speed cameras and the A1, well it's the A1, dreadful.
Once you've got to Edinburgh you'll have little choice other than eventually the A9 I guess. Unless you take the A93 over Glenshee and cut back. Probably a bit further for you but a much nicer road nonetheless.
Look forward to seeing more pictures. I was once very close to buying one almost identical to yours.

That car was on pistonheads last year, I did exchange a few emails with its previous owner
