Hello Everyone,
I am new to post here though I have viewed many posts last two months.
I got a 2013 RS4 loaded with many options. Bought it used recently via local Audi dealer, impressive car & only had it for a day and noticed car vibrations at over 40MPH. It does not affect steering wheel. The car vibrates and you could feel it uncomfortable on your cheeks if you drive longer than 20mins on smooth/good roads. No sign of damage as inspected by Audi and I wonder what the previous owner had done to it.
It has been with the dealer for almost 2 weeks now and I have been driving a 2014 Q7 as a courtesy car. Nice, comfy, slow and too big for me. They have balanced, swapped wheels completely from another demo RS4, Tyres, hubs, checked discs, reset suspensions and no luck yet. Tomorrow, they will be changing drive shafts as instructed by Audi Headquarters. But the local master technician is not confident that will solve the problem, but they have to follow instructions from headquarters.
Just my bad luck & fault for buying a used car without testing it properly. Frustrated newbie and such is life sometimes.
Hopefully, I will get my car back before Christmas.

Sorry to hear that mate, sure you will get it back shortly. Ask for a loan of an R8 that will make you happier?
but welcome and FON. I got mine last week and a week to save up more petrol money would be good, considering i think i got about 200mile from a tank

Fuel consumption is secondary when it comes to a super car.
Enjoy.
This could be the last Natually Aspriated RS4 with a v8. I think (my gut feeling) the next model next year could potentially be a v6 3.6 Turbo in the Porsche range under VW.
Still waiting to hear from Audi.

It turned out to be the new tyres which were defective and had flat spots. Dealer tyres used to diagnose the problem also had flat spots. Unbelievable 3+ weeks of waiting and trying different changes. Got another set of new tyres (no cost to me) and everything is great now - car is smooth. Fantastic car and beyond 3000 rpm it goes wild and grips the road firmly.
Daily driving can be done fairly quickly too using less than 3000 rpm and i am achieving 23mpg combined, which is impressive for a N/A v8. Drive over 4000rpm frequently with aggressive braking, fuel economy goes down to 15mpg.
