Newbie with a B7

Hi everyone. Just a quick introduction.

After many, many months of wanting, and searching, for the correct car, I am now the proud owner of a 2007 RS4 in Daytona grey. I test drove way back in 2010, and decided that one day, I'd have one.

I'm a difficult bloke to please, and have found a car that seems to have been looked after by someone who is worse than I am! 33,000 miles, and completely immaculate (bar the usual signs of wear). I'm a very happy chap. The car is tight as a drum, and drives like new.

Short term plans include a carbon clean and full checkover by MRC, hopefully within the next couple of months. I like to tinker, so have a Vag Com on the way.

Been reading a huge amount on this forum, and look forward to spending some time here.

Cheers
J_B

Thanks Daytonamart. I will put some pics up shortly. I keep reading FON but have absolutely no idea what it means. Fancy defining it for me?

Wow, what a nice welcome. Such an affectionate term 'FON'! ;)

Anyway, some pics...

welcome, nice motor.

dont understand the term FON myself either, why would you want to tell a new member to f*** off?

i think welcome and UTFS (Use The F***ing Search) is more fitting for newbs

Hang on, the B7 RS4 has only been around for 8 years (ish) . Most questions probably haven't been asked or answered yet, no point searching.

LOL, trust me they've all been asked before! And what MPG you get which always sparks a debate about if you care about MPG then you have the wrong car.

Welcome and FON, FON sounds much better than UTFS, doesn't roll off the tongue Rick.

Black, round ones

Yup

Audi

One with 8 headers, and two tips

Used chip fat. Apparently good for a 25bhp increase, but a bit smelly.

See, I can search.
