Hi all,

Just popping my head in to say hi after purchasing a 2003 RS6 saloon last week. The site helped me greatly prior to viewing the car making sure all the usual areas were looked at.

Only a couple of minor things that needs looking at and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Firstly the rear electric blind doesn't seem to work although i do hear some sort of motor working when pressing the botton on dash...fuse??

Secondly the tailgate intermittantly wont engange with the locking mechanism, i've purchased a new lock from Audi hoping it's a simple swap out due to a failing lock.

The car itself is in Mugello Blue with 72k, been well looked after with FASH with what seems like a decent spec (although may have been standard on these, im sure you'll keep me right lol) solar sunroof, elec rear blind and door card blinds, paddle shift, parking sensors, cream leather etc. one thing i did notice was it has colour coded wing mirrors whereas most other RS6 models i have seen has the Aluminium mirrors

Anyway go easy on me and for a great site.

Rule 1.

The solar sunroof, rear and door blinds were options. Not sure about the wing mirrors, previous owners may have been sick of them getting them nicked so reverted to the less coveted A6 wing mirrors.

Remember rule 1, or else we're just reading words, it's the Internet and without pictures, nothing exists, it's just a theory.

I should have known rule 1 on any forum here's some quick snaps after i picked it up following a quick wash. I will have it detailed over the summer but really enjoy the car.

SRS is pretty poo if you don't own a B5.

Hello and welcome.

I'll be heading down to the Crieff meet with a few guys off audi-sport.net, maybe we can get one big convoy sorted and all cruise down together?



Should be good for some rolling shots if there's a 10-car line of RSs leap-frogging down the road (with an A4 and maybe a few TTs in amongst too)!

Not registered yet, will get on and find out what their plan is. We've got a mix of asn and eastsidevw guys now that I'm sure we can get to meet in one place. Looking forward to the drive as much as the show!

8:30am Garthdee ASDA is confirmed as the meeting point for the Aberdeen convoy down to Crieff. If anyone wants to come along, the more the merrier.

Where in Crieff is it held? I will be in Pitlochry over that time so not far away. I go into Crieff every time I'm in Scotland.

Sorry for the late reply, buts its going to be at the Crieff Visitors Centre, and it's going to be the 24th now (since Easter is the 31st). Aberdeen convoy still meeting at Asda at 8.30
