New RS4 (B7) Owner

Post by kevconn » Wed Feb 17, 2016 8:57 am

Hi everyone, i picked up this RS4 yesterday and i can't stop smiling. After having Subarus for a good 11/12 years, last year i bought an Audi TTS but to an increasingly bad back problem i was finding it hard peeling myself out of it so i chopped it in for this RS4. The only problem i have is that it hasn't come with a service book but it did come with a mountain of service invoices from Audi and other garages which i carefully examined before commiting to the car. If anybody knows the car, any information/history over and above what i already have would be appreciated, hope you like it???

Welcome and FON.

If the service history can be substantiated by Audi, then sounds like a safe bet. Nice contrast of Black optics and light interior leather there, looks very clean.

Cheers

If you invoices from audi for servicing in the past go and see them...they might give you a new service book and stamp it again if you can prove it by receipts

Welcome, nice colour choice.

As Jay alluded to. You can order a duplicate service book and then take it to the dealers with the V5 and receipts to get the duplicate history book stamped up, it'd be worth the effort to do this come resale time.

Thanks for the comments. The problem i have with the service book, getting one and then getting it stamped is that i live near Manchester and the dealers is in Surrey.

Great excuse for a familiarisation session. Or book into a hotel for the weekend and take the missus.

Definitely a Blonde moment :bigblink:
There's a chap who had a sprint blue loon in Brum who had a Carbon Black wrapped roof with black rims and it looked a little to chavvy, the wrap was dull and wheels were gloss..

IMHO keep as is

Yeh there is an Audi dealer in Manchester, think i'll drop them an email.

In terms of painting the roof black, don't think i've got any plans along those lines, probably take all my money up just running it :nodder:
