Oh dear, that didn't work to plan :cry: .............despite agreeing a purchase price, placing a deposit with the dealer and readying myself to collect the car this Saturday, i have been informed this afternoon that the car will be staying with the present owner so he or she can continue to enjoy their pride and joy. So, onwards and upwards, the search continues. I just hope i can find one of a similar spec.............she was an absolute beauty

That's a shame, but don't give up. The right one will come along (lots of good ones pop up here on the forum). Be prepared to travel though :D

Hello again, after much searching, I am finally the proud owner of a Phantom black RS4 hearse and what a joy she is.
:blackrs4:

71k miles, 07 model year, full ASH, sat nav plus, privacy glass, Bose + 6CD and adaptive lights. I haven't found the build spec plate yet so don't know the full details yet.

Thanks to threads on this site, i restored full functionality of the cruise control and starter button by replacing the clutch switches :biggrin3:

Rule no 1 now observed (hopefully!);
