Do you run the 15mm and 12mm spacers with the RS5 wheels and the lowered suspension? I couldn't even run 8mm spacers with standard suspension! Maybe the narrower, lower profle tyres (which are the correct size for the car) combined with the stiffer suspension stops it rubbing over the bumps (I have the wrong size tyres at the moment; 265/30/20 so not only are they wider but they are actually higher profile).

Hi all,

thanks for the warm welcome :bigwave:

Reg. the spacers I have to admit that they do not fit. I switche to summer wheels on Sat and on Sun I drove my car during the whole day. Well, 15mm at the front is a bit too wide as is 12mm at the rear. My left rear rim is scratched now and I have to paint it

But 12mm at the front, 10mm is working 100% with a lower suspension. I drove this combination last year (on 255/30/20).

Now to some pictures I took on Sun. ( I still whish I could lower the car 2cm more but then I cannot drive into my basement garage anymore :? )

Hi Flo

I'm surprised that given how the look you've gone for is so 'stealthy' that you haven't changed your side repeaters for a smoked version rather than the standard white / clear ones.
This is the best picutre I could find of my ones:

Welcome along ProgLocker - Lovely looking motor and I love the stance. I am interested to see how you managed to get the front so low - I am running KWv3 coilovers with 8mm spacers and 255x35x19 tyres and one of my tyres [offside] rubs on the outside of the tyre. Have you had the arch lips rolled at all or are you running a very firm compression setting on your suspension to stop the rubbing and what tyres are you using?

Thanks

Kev. :blackrs4:
