Newbie soon to be an RS4 Avant owner

Post by Rangeyr01 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 11:13 pm

Hi just joined the forum,

Hoping to take the RS plunge in the next couple of months just doing alot of research at the moment.
I am kind of steering towards buying off a forum member has anyone had any experience of this?

Currently driving a D3 S8 and an RRS TDV8 ( Don't hate me)

FON

Welcome, lot of good info here. You won't regret getting the RS!

Good luck with the hunt.

I bought mine off a forum member.

As you'd expect, he knew the questions that would be asked and had comprehensive answers for them all. The car was in top condition and sensibly priced, there was more info on its history than just a few meagre stamps in a service book and thus far it's been a fantastic car to own. It was miles above any similarly priced cars being offered by dealers. Miles.

A lot of people have been buying recently, so there are tons of threads on what to look out for. Do plenty of research, go and see a few cars (definitely do this - there are some rough cars out there) and then buy one :)
