Hello from Taipan, the right place ?

Post by Taipan » Thu Dec 13, 2012 1:17 am

Greetings,

I post as Taipan, a former owner of an RS4 2.7T customed tuned by MTM to 460cv.

I used to be a member of RS246.com back in the 2003-2005 area and before that to RS4.org.
Also joined a bunch of "Driving on the wrong side of the road and eating boiled beef and jelly" from that RS246.com to some track days at Donnington, Oulton Park and a wild trip at Le Mans Bugatti.
Some of the names I remember from that experience were PhilT, KCsun, TimJMS, John Roberts, AndyLaw & others.

Is this the same RS246.com forum ?
Just wondering because it looks way more sophisticated than half-a-decade ago and all those .asia, .be, .biz, .es and so on at page's bottom.

Many thanks for your patience's reading this post and hopefully enlighting me with an answer.

/Salute

Cheers PhilT !

It´s great to be back, just noticed I joined RS246.com two days before you "wink wink".

I'm in the market for a new fun car, hesitating between an RS6 580 -to be tuned by a belgian guy with unresonated Milltek catbacks- a BMW M550d -you know my fondness for Diesel since I asked for an RS Diesel at Neckarsulm Quattro factory in 2004 to your Brits dismayed looks-and a Nissan GT-R.

Is the old crew still 100% Audi afficionados or enjoying a mix of this and that ?

Cheers,

Eric

Hehe...

Just figured out the FON thingie.
Looks like I can "demand" the recognition of being the early #25 joining RS246.com.

Seems also like I had to update my signature.

I guess I better look at the Nissan according to PhilT's signature.
