Thanks. I don't use it much - it did less than 1000 miles last year and is Sorn'd over winter, so it doesn't make sense to keep it really. I'll probably be sorry to see it go if/when I sell it next year nevertheless.

I understand you saying it will be hard to part with. I have a classic 1989 mini that I really need to sell but can't part with it after owning it for 12 years. It's not been driven for a while but always starts on the key some nice little mods also - nearly 100bhp

Yup, like you I've had the old car for quite some time - 10 years nearly and done quite a bit to it. New 'box, wheels, ally rad, buckets, ally tank, new induction system etc. I guess it's partly a nostalgia thing; we had a '75 two-door Escort when we were first married. Nearly every time I stop for fuel, someone comes over and reminisces about an RS2000 or Mexico they used to have and wish they'd never sold! I'm sure you enjoy the Mini almost as much as your Audi.....

Thanks. Value-wise it's a bit difficult. It's not an RS or Mexico and is far from original, but it's a really strong shell and in great condition generally. It's insured for £7k but in the current market it probably wouldn't reach this on eBay.
