What's up all ?? A very merry Xmas

Post by Priyesh_80 » Sun Dec 25, 2011 5:01 pm

Good afternoon all... Well this Xmas I have finally signed up & can't wait to soak in all the info on all the posts and passing on whatever I can! I currently drive a 08 audi S5 4,2 V8 tuned by superchips.. Ive owned the motor for just over 2 and a bit years now and soon will be selling the motor as I have a baby on the way and need to buy a 4 door :boohoo: but wait I was told by the mrs and other family members that I need to get a 4 door car but not what type!! Hence I gave myself 2 options after mulling about others (jag xfr/xfs or bmw M3.... But after considering the ass happy ways of these motors "Its all about the Quattro system in these weather conditions we have in the uk" i've decided on.. either the RS4 B7 or S4 ... But After thinking long and hard I've thought the even though the s4 will have ll the modern touches of my S5 it's like a downward step!! So ive test driven 06 plate RS4 and it felt like its meant to be & will be fingers crossed my new car!! I know there will be a whole load of things that I need to look out for and stuff, but that's where you guys will come into play! Hopefully Will have a lot more questions for ya all and hope I haven't bored anyone with this long ass post!!

Hi thanks for the welcome lads!! Well here is the exact advert for the motor and to be fair it drives like a dream! I was sold on it straight after the test drive....

Black AUDI RS4 ( 2006). 1 Owner since new, 42,000 miles / Huge specifications including enhanced power and perfomance: Stunning RS4 With usual standard factory specification (Full Black RS4 Leather Interior, Carbon Fibre dash / door trims etc) Performance has been enhanced giving this RS4 the ultimate drivers specification including. The guy selling the car is a fellow enthusiast and has looked after the car well!! We have got to the point where we have agreed a price of £23k on the car and I now need to sell the S5 to move forward.... But here comes the twist when speaking to the buyer for Essex audi group about my car, out of curiosity I gave him the registration for the rs4 and he was very sceptical after reading something on the system but due to data protection could not tell me anything more than be cautious and asked me if I'd seen the latesthealth check for the RS4 .... Which I had at the test drive but didn't remember seeing anything to concern me, and funnily enough I spoke to chingford audi (as that's where all works have been carried out on the car , n to be fair the previous owner has had everything recommended carried out by them) and they told me the same thing as the audi Essex buyer!! So I've gone back and discussed this with the owner who is in complete shock about Me being told such things without actually being given a reason to why, but he has since sent me an email with all the last few visits to the audi centre and authorisation to speak to the service team about the car!

So come Wednesday, what are the things I need to be asking audi about the RS4 ? What typically needs attention or goes wrong with it at that age and with those mods on it? Look forward to hearing back from u's

Peace :rocker:

Ps anyone want to buy my audi S5 ??

TL;DR.

465BHP, really? Have you contacted MRC to ask about the car history? Has it ever been a forum car?
I wouldn't completely trust an Audi stealer, were they trying to get you to buy Audi approved?

Wass gwanin mr scaghead?? Lol well I'm in Emerson park so jus down the road bruv, so maybe meet up for a bevi or zoot?? .... Too right I'm the only one that can decide but I thought what better place to come and be advised ;)

Bambam I saw the rolling road print out man so yea ..465 bhp :biggrin3: but haven't spoken to MRC will be doing so on wed also, interesting what your views are on the audi dealers sorry stealers (I'm new but will get use to it) But yea that was exactly what the guy was indirectly saying that the rs models are very intricate machines and would be best bought via an audi steeler as will have certain checks done and would brought upto standard and intern have a audi approved warranty!

I dunno will speak to audi chingford and MRC wed and keep you guys in the loop! Next mission to get the audi S5 advertised!
