Newbie to the forum

Post by tak1986 » Sat Oct 08, 2011 5:13 pm

Hi All,

I have recently purchase a Audi S4 (B7) Saloon MT, picking the car up next week hopefully. :D

The car is due services in 300 miles, and It has been with Audi main dealer for Longlife Service, is it worth me to going to local audi to get the service done or any one got any recommendation of any specialist garage?

I am base in East Midland.

Cheers
Sam

Welcome

nice car.

Personally I would get all servicing done at an Audi dealership. Any other work get done at a specialist. Reason, if anything goes wrong out of warranty then Audi may not contribute if the car does not have FASH (Full Audi service history).
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Agreed with above, if the car currently has FASH, keep it going, thats what I plan to do, due in 90 days or 9,600 miles when I checked this week. I am told they use longlife oil now regardless whether you go for AVS (audi variable servicing) or fixed interval.
